Start-Up Career Fair 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM - UNH ECenter: A career fair like no other at UNH!Co-sponsored by the UNH Entrepreneurship Center (ECenter), UNH Entrepreneurship Club (student organization), and Career and Professional Success (CaPS)You have the skill sets the start-up companies want on their team: marketing, sales, finance, software development, customer service, and specific skills that relate to your major and their company focus.UNH has a long and successful history of developing problem-solving, innovative, and entrepreneurial-minded students. In 2016, UNH opened the doors to its Entrepreneurship Center (ECenter). The ECenter is the co-curricular heart of ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurship at UNH. Additionally, Paul College has an Entrepreneurship Major, the Center for Social Innovation and Enterprise hosts the Social Venture Challenge, and Paul College hosts the Holloway Prize Competition. The University has centers in private equity and venture research, international franchising, social innovation, family business, and entrepreneurship and innovation. Every corner on campus there are student clubs and groups that help prepare students in a wide range of areas and skills.ALL OF THESE ARE VALUABLE TO A START-UP COMPANY!Why work at a start-up company?1. 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM - Memorial Union Building Strafford Room: Interested in finding a summer job or applying to part-time, full-time, volunteer and internship opportunities? Join us at the Nonprofit Job & Internship Fair to learn about the ways volunteering and civic engagement advance your leadership and career readiness skills. Network with people who share your interests and passions and learn more about the opportunities available in the nonprofit and public service fields where you can make a positive social impact.Career and Professional Success would like to invite you to attend the Nonprofit Job & Internship Fair on Tuesday, March 26th from 12:00pm-3:00pm at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH in the Memorial Union Building, Strafford Room. A chance to meet up to 30 local and regional organizations to learn about the application process, explore each organization, and gain insight as you determine your path to lifelong success. Fall 2019 Part-Time & Work Study Job Fair 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

1:00 PM to 4:00 PM - MUB Granite State Room: In an effort to support University of New Hampshire students looking for part-time and/or work-study jobs or internships on campus and in the community, Career and Professional Success invites all students to take part in the spring Part-Time & Work Study Job Fair on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM in the MUB’s Granite State Room.No registration is required to attend.Search and apply to positions in advance on Handshake then meet the department at the fair to show your interest.Bring copies of your resume to share. Some employers may take them at the fair, while others may ask you to apply online.PLEASE BE AWARE: Jobs are not guaranteed to all students that attend. You will have to apply to each department. Though not the case for all on-campus employers, some do only hire students that have work-study in their financial aid package. Please clarify with each department as to their policy and to check if you have work-study in your aid package, please log in to WebCat or contact Financial Aid at Financial.aid@unh.edufeff.

Fall 2019 Resume Review Day with Industry Experts 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM

11:30 AM to 3:00 PM - MUB Granite State & Strafford Rooms: Join Career and Professional Success and industry experts at Resume Review Day! This biannual event brings employers, hiring managers, and alumni to campus to offer 1-on-1 resume review to students from all majors and with all career interests. This is not an interview or formal application for a specific job/internship within one of the companies, but an incredible opportunity for students to get tips and feedback on their resumes from industry experts that look at thousands of resumes each year. First-time Fair attendees are invited on guided tours hosted by CaPS staff throughout the fair, and Career Counselors will host mini-prep sessions throughout the beginning of the event to help you perfect that elevator pitch. The UNH Alumni Association will be hosting a free LinkedIn Headshot Photoshoot for all interested attendees.
