Yearlong course leading to an honors senior thesis. Open
only to seniors seeking honors in major whose individually
designed research projects have been approved by the
department honors committee and who have been assigned
an adviser. Students must enroll for both fall and spring
semesters. Students defend the resulting written thesis in
an oral presentation before department members and
others. Prereq: permission.
