Boston Symphony Open Rehearsal, Symphony Hall, Boston, MA. Lunch on your own at the Prudential Center, Boston, MA. Departure: Durham 7:00 AM and Newington 7:30 AM Approximate time of return: Newington 5:30 PM and Durham 6:00 PM

Once again, we are pleased to honor the many requests for an Open Rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall in Boston, MA. Upon arrival, you’ll have time for coffee or a bite to eat in the Symphony Café before the rehearsal begins at 10:30 AM. Andris Nelson conducts today’s program, which includes the American premier of HK Gruber’s Short Stories from the Vienna Woods, followed by Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F. The program concludes with Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3.

Following the morning rehearsal, our bus will take us to the Prudential Center where you will enjoy lunch on your own at one of the extensive number of restaurants there, including: The Top of the Hub, The Cheesecake Factory, Au Bon Pain, California Pizza Kitchen, Num Pang Kitchen, Eataly, L’Espalier, and Ben & Jerry’s, to name a few. You may prefer to do some shopping in one of the many elegant boutiques, or just people watch, or even enjoy the amazing view from the top of the Pru.

We’ll depart for home at 3:30 PM.

Handicap Accessibility: Both Symphony Hall and the Prudential Center are handicap accessible. Cost is $52.00 per person, lunch on your own.
