Kathy Neils joined UNH in September, 2012 and has been leading the Human Resource team at UNH for the past two years. Kathy has more than twenty years as a human resource professional with two excellent organizations- General Electric and Timberland. Kathy has functioned in specialty and generalist roles with increasing responsibility. Beginning as a benefits specialist, she advanced to a training and development specialist and then to HR generalist positions and finally as the HR manager at the General Electric Aircraft Engines plant in Hooksett, NH. At Timberland, she had assignments in staffing, employee and organizational development, talent management and most recently, Senior Director of Human Resources leading a global human resources team of 23 HR staff, responsible for over 50% of the Timberland workforce. Kathy’s diverse set of skills and experience have been a welcome addition to UNH. Kathy holds a BS in Accounting from Plattsburgh New York State University.H ADVA
