Whittemore School of Business and Economics -- Degree Requirements

The Whittemore School offers a bachelor of arts degree program in economics as well as bachelor of science degree programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management.

Degree candidates must satisfy all of the University general education requirements for graduation as well as the particular requirements of their individual major programs. No Whittemore School course may be taken on a pass/fail basis by a student majoring in business administration, economics, or hospitality management.

Modifications tend to occur in major programs during the four-year period of a student's undergraduate career. Students are expected to conform to these changes. Students transferring into the Whittemore School from other universities must have business, economics, and hospitality management courses reviewed and approved by the Whittemore School Undergraduate Programs Office to be considered for major requirements.

A maximum of 32 credits in courses offered by the Whittemore School of Business and Economics may be taken by non-business students.
