Whittemore School of Business and Economics

The Whittemore School offers a bachelor of arts degree
program in economics as
well as bachelor of science degree programs in business
administration, economics,
and hospitality management.
Degree candidates must satisfy all of the University
general education requirements for graduation as well as the particular requirements
of their individual major programs. No Whittemore School course may be taken
on a pass/fail basis by a student majoring in business administration, economics,
or hospitality management.
Modifications tend to occur in major programs during
the four-year period of a student's undergraduate career. Students are expected
to conform to these changes. Students transferring into the Whittemore School
from other universities must have business, economics, and hospitality management
courses reviewed and approved by the Whittemore School Undergraduate Programs
Office to be considered for major requirements.
A maximum of 32 credits in courses offered by the Whittemore
School of Business and Economics may be taken by non-business students.
