Writing Consultant Program

The Writing Consultant Program at UNH is a new initiative designed to support writing in the disciplines. The Writing Consultant Program is similar to the Writing Fellows Program in that students with disciplinary expertise help newer students learn the conventions of writing specific to a discipline or field. But instead of linking an individual student to a single course, the Writing Consultant Program develops cohorts of consultants to work with the students in a large, multi-sectioned course (such as ADMN 400) or in a department or group of related departments. The Writing Consultant Program operates out of the Connors Writing Center. Currently, the University Writing Program is developing disciplinary writing consultant cohorts in business and in the sciences.
