Being Fierce and Fabulous
Thursdays starting September 24, 12:40pm-2:00pm, Health Services Conference Rooms (second floor).  This program is an empowering, creative, supportive and inspiring 4-week group for college women. The group provides education on self-esteem, communication skills, stress management techniques, healthy relationships, and much more. Meditate Your Way to Wellness
Guided Group Meditation
Mondays Starting September 7, 2009, 12:10pm-12:50pm - open to UNH Community

Power Lunches: Fierce and Fabulous Friendships for Women. Tuesday Sept. 22, Tuesday Nov 22, Thursday, December 3, 12:30-2:00pm, MUB Room 302. New to campus and feeling disconnected? Haven't been able to meet other women? Don't know where to go to make friends? You are not alone! The creators of Being Fierce and Fabulous, a women's empowerment group at UNH, have organized a fun and relaxed opportunity for women to make connections with others. Open to women students both undergrad and graduate. No registration required - bring your own lunch.

Social Justice Educator Training (SJE) is a professional development opportunity for UNH faculty, staff and graduate students to further diversity awareness, knowledge and skill sets. We will explore “social justice” via personal and institutional lenses to analyze: power and privilege, discrimination and prejudice, inclusion and equity through the multiple social identities of race, gender, sexual orientation, class, nationality, ethnicity, ability (physical and mental), religion, etc. This process will include open and honest discussions, readings, and interactive/experiential activities in a respectful environment.
