About Us

Learn more about Military & Veteran Services

Military & Veteran Services (MVS) at UNH provides services to students who are on active duty, veterans, national guard, reservists, and dependents of veterans. Our population of students that we serve is approximately 400. The MVS staff consists of four professional staff members and several work study students.

Ensuring our students have their benefits in place while attending UNH is a top priority.  UNH School Certifying Officials (SCO's) will assist students in the process of obtaining VA education benefits as well as certifying their enrollment to the VA for processing those benefits.

M&VS is located on the 3rd floor of Thompson Hall.

Our Programming and Outreach Support Specialists focus primarily on coordinating and presenting events that benefit our student veterans. Collaborating with local and state community members allow our office to provide support, assistance, and education to the UNH community. Events include but are not limited to; career exploration sessions, VA resource fairs, health services sessions, and academic resource options.

Together, the MVS department provides many programs and services to aid the student veteran (military connected) student with their success and completion of their UNH academic program.  Events include Orientation, Job Fairs, Student Armed Forces Association, Brown Bag Lunches, support with the students ancillary needs and much more.

You may send an email to unh.veterans@unh.edu or email/call any one of us for questions or comments.
