Capt.de Vaisseau, ca. 1700, by Le Chevalier D'Hautefort

While not an image of the French liason commander Sebastian de Villeu of the 1694 Oyster River raid, this oil portrait nevertheless shows an older marine officer in full dress, much like that of the sixty-year old Villeu, Capt. Co. Franches de la Marine(independent company of Marines.)
