Services for SSS Eligible Students
The Center for Academic Resources has an additional Student Support Services (SSS)/TRiO component. These grant-funded services are for students enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs who meet income and/or disability criteria determined by the U.S. Department of Education.
In addition to services offered for all UNH students, CFAR offers eligible students the following:
- Individualized subject area tutoring
- Graduate school advising and GRE preparation
- Scholarship search assistance
- Study Group Instruction (SGI) with a student leader/facilitator in specific courses.
- Counseling and coaching for students with disabilities
- Students selected as Rising Scholars are offered scholarship support
- Course selection information (including copies of course syllabi and instructor evaluations)
- Financial aid and financial literacy information
