Motor Vehicle Lockouts

The University Police will come and attempt to unlock your vehicle under the following circumstances 1) it is your vehicle 2) you sign a waiver eliminating the University Police Department from liability for any damage done to your vehicle and 3) you wait by the vehicle.

PLEASE NOTE that this is a difficult skill and that newer cars are becoming more theft resistant; therefore the University Police Department may not be able to gain access.

 

Motor Vehicle Jumpstarts

Due to the high potential for damage to the cruiser radio and electronics, we will not attempt to jump-start another vehicle at this time. The University Police Department will assist you in making contact with another provider to assist you with your vehicle.
