ALERT 9/9/2012
On Sunday 09/09/2012, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the University of New
Hampshire Police Department responded to the Gables outside of South
Tower for an assault. The victim is a student and has wounds consistent
with an edged weapon. Suspects described as 1 black male and 2 white males.
Officers and Detectives are investigating at this time.
Suspects were apprehended.

ALERT 5/6/2012
On Sunday 05/06/2012, at approximately 0330 hours, the University of New
Hampshire Police Department responded to Stoke hall for a female student that
was sexually assaulted by a male. The suspect was described as a dark
skinned male with dark hair and wearing a dark T-shirt. The suspect left
on foot toward Main St.

ALERT 1/28/2012
On 01/28/2012, at approximately 0126 hours, the Durham and University of New
Hampshire Police Departments responded to a report of a fight on Strafford
Avenue near the intersection of Edgewood Road. Strafford County Dispatch
reported multiple people involved in a brawl. Further investigation revealed one
male was stabbed in the torso with a knife and a second male was struck in the
head with a blunt object.

ALERT 10/30/2011
On Sunday, October 30, 2011 at
approximately 1:00 a.m., a male subject wearing a fedora
hat, gray shirt, black dress pants and black suspenders with
a chin-strap beard assaulted 3 people at the Gables.

ALERT 09/17/2011
On Saturday, September 17, 2011, at
approximately 10:30 p.m., the University of New Hampshire Police Department
received a report from a male that he was punched in the face and his wallet
was stolen between Health Services and Main Street. The alleged suspect
is described as black male, 6ft tall, wearing a blue ball cap and hooded UNH
sweatshirt.

The University of New Hampshire is issuing this campus alert
(in
compliance with the Clery Act).
The Clery Act is federal legislation that requires all
colleges and universities with federal financial aid
programs to keep and disclose information about campus
crimes.
On Wednesday,
September 6, 2011, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the
University of New Hampshire Police Department responded to
two reports of a male exposing himself in the area behind
the Whittemore Center.
The subject was described as being a college-aged white
male, with dark hair, wearing a grey t-shirt and dark
colored gym shorts with a white stripe down the side.
University Police
Officers and Campus Service Officers will be increasing
their patrols of the area, and will answer any safety
concerns you might have, including providing safety escorts
throughout our community.

On Thursday, June 23, 2011, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the University of New
Hampshire Police Department received information that a male individual had
exposed himself to a female student walking in front of Stoke Hall. The male
subject opened the door of a white SUV that he was seated in and exposed himself
to the female student.
The subject was described as being a college-aged white male, early 20’s,
wearing red boxer shorts and white T-shirt.
University Police Officers, as well as Campus Service Officers, will be
increasing patrols of the area and will answer any safety concerns you might
have including providing safety escorts throughout our community.

ALERT 04/30/2011
On
Saturday, April 30 2011, at approx. 3:45am, a female student
was assaulted outside of Stoke Hall by a male who groped her
beneath her skirt. She was able to push the male off of her
and he then left the area in an unknown direction. The male
subject is described as a college aged white male subject
wearing jeans and described to be 6 feet tall with a stocky
build and clean shaven.
The UNH Police are investigating this incident and request
anyone having information about this incident or
similar incidents to contact the University of New Hampshire

ALERT 04/26/2011
On
Tuesday, April 26 2011, at approximately 9:28 a.m., the
University of New Hampshire Police Department received
information that a male individual had exposed himself to
two female students walking in the first section of A Lot.
The male subject was standing between two parked vehicles
with his pants down exposing himself. When noticed by the
two female students he said, “Oh, sorry” but made no attempt
to quickly pull his pants up. He then pulled his pants up
and started walking away towards the Transportation Services
building and said, “Have a nice day ladies.”
The subject was described as being a college-aged white
male, early 20’s, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt , blue
sweatpants and a blue baseball cap.

will answer any safety concerns you might have, including
providing safety escorts throughout our community.

Two male students were
physically assaulted
near Christensen Hall at approximately 3:30 a.m. The suspect
is a white male, 6'1" in height with brown hair and wearing
a light brown coat with blue jeans. The male suspect was
last seen running behind Williamson Hall. The UNH Police are
investigating this incident and request anyone having
information about this incident or similar incidents
