GLOBE-Environmental Education and Science for K-12 Students
The University of New Hampshire, in Durham, is home to the Land Cover and Remote Sensing protocols of the GLOBE Program. GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) is a worldwide community of students, teachers, scientists, and citizens working together to better understand, sustain, and improve Earth's environment at local, regional, and global scales. The Mission is to promote the teaching and learning of science, enhance environmental literacy and stewardship, and promote scientific discovery. This presentation will share more about the GLOBE program and the initiative at UNH.
