Weather

The Commencement ceremony will take place outdoors at Memorial Field on the scheduled date regardless of weather. There will be a live simulcast in the Whittemore Center Arena for those individuals who would be more comfortable viewing the ceremony from indoors.

White information tents will be located at both ends of the field. View the map for locations.

Dogs

For the health and safety of our guests, and the cleanliness of our event grounds, dogs of any type/size, with the exception of service dogs, are not permitted at the UNH Commencement ceremony. Please do not bring your dogs to campus. Event staff and University Police will enforce this policy.

Lost and Found

Lost and found items will be collected and held at the information booths for the duration of the ceremony. Items remaining at the end of the ceremony, will be transferred to the information desk at the Hamel Recreation Center inside the Whittemore Center Arena lobby.

Refreshments

UNH Dining services will have a variety of beverages, breakfast, and lunch items available for purchase before the ceremony under the refreshment tents at Memorial Field and in the concessions in the Whittemore Center Arena.

First Aid and Medical Assistance

In the event of an emergency, call 911. Emergency personnel are on site and can respond quickly.

Non-emergency service is available at the first-aid tent near the Dairy Bar. View the map for location.

Memorabilia

The UNH Alumni Association and the UNH Bookstore will be selling memorabilia including, t-shirts, sweatshirt, and diploma frames at Memorial Field.

Photographers

During the ceremony, all graduates will be photographed as they receive their diploma cover. There is no fee for this service, and there is no obligation to purchase photos. Graduates will be sent proofs and information on ordering photos at their permanent address, as held by the Registrar, following the ceremony. For information, call GradTrak® at 800-424-3686. Guests will not have access to the front of the stage to take photos.

UNH Photographic Services will be capturing candid moments at Commencement from beginning to end. These images will be available for viewing and purchase through www.unhphotos.smugmug.com. Images will be continually added over several days following the ceremony.

Yearbooks

Graduates will be sent a complimentary copy of The Granite Yearbook. This will be sent to the graduate's permanent address, as held by the Registrar, in the winter following Commencement. Please email thegraniteyearbook@hotmail.com with any questions or concerns.
