Deadline for undergraduate students to file an Intent-to-Graduate form for May 2013 with the Registrar’s Office on Blackboard, via Webcat, without incurring a late fee.

Student registration to attend the Honors Convocation and Commencement ceremony begins. Registration is open through May 10.

March 11
Deadline for graduate students to file an Intent-to-Graduate form for May 2013 with the Registrar’s Office on Blackboard, via Webcat, without incurring a late fee.

March 11 to 15 - Spring Break
Mailers go out to all families at the student's permanent address.

April 2013

April 1
Deadline for all students completing degrees in May 2013 to file an Intent-to-Graduate form with the Registrar’s Office on Blackboard, via Webcat, with a $25 late fee.

April 16
Attend the Commencement Fair. Caps and gowns will be available for purchase.

May 2013

Many departments hold individual celebrations leading up to and immediately following Commencement. List of 2013 Departmental Celebrations. Please check back as celebrations will be added as they are confirmed.

May 13-15
Caps and gowns are available at the Elliott Alumni Center, 9 Edgewood Road, behind the Whittemore Center Arena from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

May 17
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Commencement rehearsal, Memorial Field.

12 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Alumni Association Graduate Lobster Bake, Boulder Field, immediately following Commencement rehearsal. Registration will open in February.

3 p.m.: Students participating in Honors Convocation line-up at the Whittemore Center.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Honors Convocation, Whittemore Center.

May 18
9 a.m.: Graduating students line-up with their school or college, Memorial Field.

9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Commencement ceremony, Memorial Field.

* These dates assume that no adjustments will be made to the January Term piloted in 2010.
