Winter break is a time to go on vacation, study abroad, and hang out with old friends. For me, it is a chance to take advantage of New Hampshire in the winter. This break I opened the general store at Bear Brook State Park for snowmobilers, atv riders, XC skiers, and anyone else who happened to drop by for a cup of coffee or snack. I also went hiking around the state to take in the beautiful snow, hang out with friends and snap some great pictures.
With my final semester approaching it was hard to think of coming back to school with the thought of, this is going to be the last time i…, in my head. Keeping that in mind, I am completely optimistic and determined to make this the perfect ending to quite the fascinating adventure I have had at UNH. By switching up my schedule, adding some new things to my plate, and having a couple new tricks up my sleeve, I’m ready to begin the end with a smile.
I normally do not partake in New Years Resolutions, but to try something new, my UNH New Year’s Resolution for 2013 is to perform at open mic nights more and write memorable stories before I graduate.
