Alumni Tale: Phebe Moore ’13

What did you study at UNH?

Communication: Business Applications and Hospitality

Did you have an international experience (study, research, internship or volunteer abroad) while at UNH?

I was fortunate enough to be a part of the inaugural Cruise Ship Management J-term class in the Caribbean.

What were you doing 1 year out of college?

With the help of the UNH Career Center and Krystal Hicks, I landed an incredible opportunity as an Account Coordinator for a small boutique creative agency, Lauchlanworks on the seacoast.

What are you doing now?

I am currently still at Lauchlanworks working as an Account Coordinator, however I’ve recently developed a special focus in event coordination. In working at a smaller company, I have had the opportunity to work on numerous campaigns in all types of capacities and have really developed my skills in marketing and event management.

How do you feel your time at UNH has had an impact on where you are today?

My time at UNH has had a huge impact on where I am today. Being apart of the communications honor society, Lambda Pi Eta and the Communications internship program, I was able to realize my passion for event planning and coordination. I was also able to practice my networking skills and foster great relationships with my teachers and peers to help me be the person I am today, both singularly and within my company.
