Alumni Tale: Kelsey Hamel ’15

What did you study at UNH?

Communication; Media Practices

What were you doing 1 year out of college?

I had just started my first job as an Account Coordinator at a PR agency and moved to Boston.

What are you doing now?

I am now an Account Manager at the same PR agency I started at two years ago – and I still love what I do. During the winter, I teach skating on the weekends, which I have continued since skating on the Freestyle Skating Club at UNH. I’m also the Co-founder of a Boston-based food blog Boston Behavior, so I am constantly on the hunt for the best brunch places in the city, which keeps me pretty busy.

How do you feel your time at UNH has had an impact on where you are today?

UNH has impacted my entire life in the best way! I owe everything to the people and lessons I learned while at school, and the least I can do is be a volunteer for the Boston Alumni Network to help make sure other students get the same positive experience I was fortunate enough to have.

Why do you believe in UNH?

I believe in UNH because what you learn while at school, and who you meet while you are there, open so many doors for your future.
