What did you study at UNH?

Political Science with a minor in Philosophy

What were you doing 1 year out of college?

My first job out of college was working on the gubernatorial campaign as campaign scheduler for Arnie Arnesen.

What were you doing 5 years out of college?

I was working at Timberland as the product line coordinator. It was also the year I got married.

What were you doing 10 years out of college?

I was a new mother and homemaker.

What are you doing now?

I now work at the Portsmouth Public Library. I’m also the brainchild and co-founder of the Project Upcycle Runway Event and blog about sustainable style RecoverGirl. I enjoy coming back to campus for frequent walks through the College Woods trails.

How do you feel your time at UNH has had an impact on where you are today?

I took classes near the end that pointed me in the direction of education. They made me want to be a teacher in my own way. I now teach computer classes at the library, various topics on my blog and through events, including classes in tie-dye.

Why do you believe in UNH?

I feel like over time UNH has become a stronger resource and it makes me proud I went there.
