Google™ Earth UNH Instructions
Google™ Earth UNH will provide users with an interactive
overview of the University of New Hampshire Durham campus. Whether
you are a student, parent, alumnus, or campus visitor this map will
provide you with the tools necessary to get the most out of your UNH
experience. In order to use Google™ Earth UNH you must have the
most recent version of Google™ Earth installed on your computer.
New features are constantly being added so be sure and check back often. If you have questions or comments about Google™ Earth UNH please email us!
Google™ Earth UNH Download Instructions
1. Download Google™ Earth or verify that you are running the most current version. (If you are interested in learning more about Google™ Earth take the Google™ Earth Product Tour)
3. Either open the file when prompted or double click on the kmz document that you have downloaded. This should automatically launch the UNH Campus Map within Google™ Earth. (Some computers may download a zip file which will need opening.)
4. Drag the file to "My Places" within Google™ Earth. (This will save the file for future use.)
5. Control the various layers of information about the campus in the "Places" menu on the left side of the software. Use the check boxes to click layers on and off. For best viewing, turn off the native Google Earth layers.
6. Click on the “UNH Campus Map click me!” located in the “Places” menu. The “click me!” will provide in depth instructions on how to easily navigate Google Earth UNH to find what you are looking for.
7. Click on icons placed on the satellite images to get more information, photos, links, and other cool stuff. (You can also click on the features listed in the "My Places" menu.)

* Aerial imagery depicted was provided by Google™ Earth and may not
reflect current campus conditions for areas of recent construction.
* You must have the most up-to-date version of Google™ Earth to run
it.
* Desktop computers older than 4 years old may not be able
to run it.
* Notebook computers older than 2 years old may not be able to run it.

* OS: Windows 2000, XP, or Mac OS X (10.3.9 +)
* CPU: 500MHz
* Free Hard Disk Space: 400 MB
* System RAM: 128 MB (PC), 256 MB (Mac)
* Video RAM: 16 MB
* Screen Resolution: 1024x768, 32-bit color
* Internet: 128 Kbps ("broadband")
