Funding
The Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research has flourished through support from the University administration, the UNH Parents Association, state and federal funding, and the generosity of private benefactors such as the Cogswell Benevolent Trust, the Rogers Family Foundation, Mrs. Elizabeth Knowles, Mrs. Patricia Bell, Mrs. Helen Hepler Clapp and family, Mrs. Dorothy P. O' Neil, Dr. Kenneth Manning, Dr. David and Mrs. Marion Ellis, Ms. Karen L. Harrower, and Mr. Dana Hamel.
Strengthening and supporting international studies and undergraduate research was a goal of The Next Horizon, the University of New Hampshire's successful campaign to raise $100 million.
