how to prepare for your advising appointment
1. Review what you’ve taken by printing out a Degree Evaluation and bring it to your appointment.
2. Review all UNH Majors
3. Make a list of the Majors that interest you
4. Review the Catalog Descriptions and Website of each major on your list
5. See What can I do with this major
6. Discuss your Academic Plan with your Advisor - in addition to possible majors/minors and courses this can include Gen Eds and WI courses, Study Away interests, Internship possibilities, Undergraduate Research opportunities, career interests and other campus activities/organizations)
Remember : Don’t forget to bring your degree evaluation and your list of majors/courses of interest!
