Students must have sophomore standing or higher in order to declare

To declare English, English Literature, or English Teaching, you should have completed ENGL 419 with a grade of 'C' or better, OR you must be enrolled in ENGL 419 at the time of declaration.

To declare English/Journalism you must have completed ENGL 534 with a grade of 'B' or better

Application due during the 4th week of the semester (9/22-9/26)

Human Development and Family Studies

The application to transfer to Family Studies is available on the Undergraduate forms page

Students applying to Child Advocacy & Family Policy, Family Support/CFLE or Individual & Family Development should have a minimum GPA of 2.2 to be considered.

The minimum GPA requirement for consideration for Young Child is 2.6.

Several of the programs have limited space and are competitive.
