A new, full-time degree student at UNH student takes 4 courses. You will be registered for courses during your advising appointment.

A new Preadmit student takes 3 courses. Preadmits register with the Registrar's Office in Stoke Hall.

Course Schedule Overview – Your schedule will likely include courses from the following areas:

• Major or Exploration/interest courses
• Math or Science
• Language or other Discovery Program (core curriculum) Requirement
• General interest

Selecting Courses

1. Review UNH  majors. Then, write the names of at least 3 majors that interest you in the #1 box below.

2. Review recommended courses for each major. Then, write the names of 5 or 6 courses in the #2 box below.

    Access course descriptions to help you select courses.

3. Are you a transfer student? If yes, review your transfer credit evaluation.

4. Are you a readmit student? If yes, review your UNH degree evaluation.

5. Review Discovery requirements. Then, write the names of three or four discovery courses that interest you in box #3 below.
