How to Find an Internship

There are many different ways to conduct an internship search.  Getting started early and using proactive strategies are two of the best ways to find a great opportunity.  The following tips and video link below can help get you started on your search:

Informed:  Research organizations to find opportunities that will help you achieve these goals. 

Focused:  Devote a few hours or more per week to your search.

Networking:  Whether you are talking informally with family and friends, conducting an informational interview with a member of a professional association, or connecting with faculty or alumni on LinkedIn, networking is an important part of any internship and job search.  

Prepared: Develop a strong resume and cover letter, and prepare for your interviews.
