Brief description of typical entry-level position or internship: |
An entry-level employee is typically tasked with researching technical
specifications in a new networking protocol, developing experience
in software development tools, and beginning to create test programs
(using C, C++ and C#). The engineer is then able to execute these
tests on hardware using analyzers and protocol generators. Once experienced,
the engineer is able to participate in periodic test periods with
visiting vendors.
