At Eckerd Youth Alternatives, we work everyday with a commitment to make a profound difference in the lives of troubled teens. As an Outdoor Youth Counselor, you will directly impact the lives of at-risk youth and brighten their futures just by your positive influence. Working with a group of 8 to 12 youth ages 10 to 17. You will ensure that group members are safe, engaged in productive behaviors, and developing effective problem-solving skills and useful life strategies. You?ll keep an eye on the living quarters, lead outdoor activities, supervise classroom and academic studies, involve your group in community service projects, and plan fun events like cookouts
