Brief description of typical entry-level position

Methuen Construction Company is seeking an entry level Project Engineer to support, maintain and facilitate the profitability and schedules of projects under construction and jobs to bid. The qualified candidate will provide assistance to the project superintendents and project managers by facilitating the successful execution of the project.

The selected Project Engineer shall have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Willingness to learn project planning and scheduling, contracts, and project controls and procedures.
  • Willingness to learn contract compliance and construction quality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Skill in the use of Windows based personal computers in application of Microsoft Office Professional.
  • Personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and quality control.
  • Prior experience a plus, but not required.
