Quality Assurance Interns: EP currently has QA Internship opportunities within several technology groups including Web Development, Database Design & Development, and Services Engineering. The QA position will allow the intern to work on several activities: • Help test new database-driven projects for the teams • Enhance, extend, and help maintain the QA Intranet web site • Help verify bug fixes in web-based applications • Develop reports and metrics by mining a defect tracking database.

Software Developer Interns: EP is looking for  Software Developer Interns to participate on project teams in our Database Design and Development, EBSChost Services Engineering and Web Development groups. Duties may include involvement in all aspects of a project's lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance. Essential functions include: • Requirements analysis • Component coding, maintenance and development • Unit testing and documentation • Utility development • Programming according to EP best practices with some potential for research and design • Report work status.

Brief description of typical entry-level position

EP's Customer Service department is hiring Technical Support Representatives. The Technical Support Representative will be responsible for answering customers? questions and resolving concerns in a timely and efficient manner (within 24 hours whenever possible) via telephone and e-mail channels. Must advocate on behalf of target customers for issues, enhancements and defects.

EBSCO Publishing's Editorial department is currently seeking entry-level Abstractors. This is a full-time, hourly-compensated position based in Ipswich MA. The primary responsibility of this abstracting position will be summarizing articles from periodicals and magazines in a wide variety of subject-areas including American Culture, Business, Political Science and Sports, as well as more technical subject areas. Summaries will become reference tools in EP's award winning database products, used by public and academic libraries worldwide.

The Software QA Engineer is responsible for analyzing and scoping QA project work based on available requirements. Create and execute manual and automated test cases / plans / scripts for product releases. Log, track, and close defects throughout the software development process. Work collaboratively on project teams, contribute to project scheduling, and create and maintain QA documentation.

The Account Executive is directly responsible for servicing all existing business relationships, securing the renewal of all existing subscriptions as well as selling upgrades and additional products. The Account Executive is also responsible for generating new sales of EBSCO Publishing products and implementing and directing a growth plan for their territories in their assigned markets.
