Welcome!

Tae Kwon Do is the traditional martial art of Korea. It encompasses blocking, punching and kicking techniques, and is used for the purposes of self-defense and counterattacks. Translated, Tae Kwon Do literally means, "the way of the hand and the foot".

The U.N.H. Tae Kwon Do Club teaches Traditional-style Tae Kwon Do, with a focus on training both the body and mind in unison. Students learn the concentration, focus, and discipline they need to excel in their academic classes, while releasing their college stresses in a healthy, productive and fun way!

The Tae Kwon Do Club at UNH is advised by Grand Master Sun Woo Park, and all of the classes are instructed by students of his who are certified black belts through the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). As a member of the club, students will have the opportunity to train under Grand Master Park directly during monthly outings to his school.

Members will also enjoy monthly board breaking classes, in which they will learn to refine their Tae Kwon Do skills through mental concentration and focus. All students who train regularly will be eligible for promotional testings held at the end of each semester; and we encourage student leaders to organize outings to local tournaments to even further improve students' Tae Kwon Do skills.

We welcome students of all levels of experience to join us!
