Dear Educator,

The UNH Department of Theatre & Dance offers quality educational programs for K-12 schools throughout the region. We invite you to join us for a matinee or attend one of our popular Drama Days. See first hand how our programs provide not only an exceptional performance experience, but also classroom resources like multi disciplinary themes, curriculum ties and standards based educator’s guides. Please share these educational opportunities in the performing arts with your fellow teachers and students. If you need further information or would like to request a brochure, call our office at 603-862-0093.

Sincerely,

Box Office Procedure for School Groups

No printed tickets will be given to school groups who reserve seats. Reservation Contracts and Reservation Confirmations will be used. Seating is reserved first come-first served and is guaranteed, as seats allow, with payment, purchase order, or reservation contract. Because of fire codes and for safety of patrons, anyone attending (including teachers, bus drivers, chaperones, etc.) will need to reserve a seat. Disability parking, access, and wheelchair seating are available. When ordering seats, please let us know your needs so that our ushers can be on hand to assist with entry into accessible doorways, hallways, and elevator. Schools will be seated, as groups, toward the front of the theatre in the order of their arrival. The Theatre Lobby Box Office will be open the morning of the event from 9:00-10:30am to assist those with fully executed Reservation Contracts who still need to pay or submit Purchase Orders. Since all school matinee seats are reserved in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door the morning of the event.

No seats will be held until UNH receives the signed contract. Seats can only be guaranteed, if seating is available. After UNH receives your signed contract, we will sign it and the fully executed contract will be returned to you as your confirmation. If seating is full, you will be contacted. The Box Office will accept reservations without payment until 5 working days prior to the event. Reservation Contracts will hold seats up to the day of the event. The total money stated on the contract will be due before entering the theatre via cash, credit card, check, or Purchase Order.

Purchase Orders: If you are unable to pay via cash, check, or credit card prior to the event, then we will accept your school’s official Purchase Order with your Reservation Contract for the exact amount of seats. UNH will send an invoice referencing the purchase order number to your school’s accounts payable office. Invoice terms are: payment due in full within 30 days of invoice receipt.

Cancellations:
Cancellations received 15 working days prior to the event will void the Reservation Contract; if a reservation is cancelled fewer than 15 working days before the event, schools are responsible for paying the full contracted sum. Cancellations, as a result of unexpected school and/or UNH closings (such as for weather, fire, natural disasters), will also void the contract. These legitimate cancellations will result in refunds for money transactions, or an exchange for seats at an upcoming event, if seats allow.
