Originator of GRAD 980 Receives Tribute at APA Convention

James Korn

Dr. James Korn, one of the originators of the GRAD 980 course, is shown receiving a tribute at a ceremony at the 2006 American Psychological Association convention in New Orleans. The ceremony marked Jim’s retirement from Saint Louis University and his many years of service to his profession. In addition to teaching Grad 980 and spending time with his family, Jim continues to publish in the area of teaching and learning. His most recent piece, titled Attention During Lectures: Beyond Ten Minutes, was published with co-author Karen Wilson in Teaching of Psychology (2007, 34 (2), pp. 85-89).
