Professional Series
There
will be a professional series on October 28 at 6:30 in the MUB
The
speaker will be Gloria See. She is an engineer at BAE Systems, she graduated
from RIT
The Publicity
Committee has posted fliers around Kingsbury
IEEE has
been contacted by Kelsey about the funding and they have yet to
respond
The next
Pro Series will be on November 17, a room still needs to be booked for it
Fundraising
There is a
meeting booked with Dean Henry on Friday October 30 from 10-11. May-Win and the
fundraising committee will be attending
Outreach
Tech Fun
Night- At Exeter HS, Phil Hatcher asked if we could attend on December 18 and
February 12, both Fridays from 5-8. There will be Pizza!

CORN MAZE!!
We will be going to the Coppal Farm Corn Maze on Sunday the 25 at 1. Anyone that

Dean Henry is looking
for potential speakers to go with him to Pinkerton on Saturday Nov. 14
It would be a couple
hours in the morning
It is a presentation
about engineering and the Dean is having Professors and students attend to talk
about engineering and their experiences to high school students
There is no
requirement for how much you would need to say but it is a very good way to
practice public speaking

Dean's Office Tour
The Dean's Office
does tours for potential students on Saturday afternoons. It is only the
buildings associated with CEPS. This is a good way to earn brownie points with
the Dean and to practice public speaking. Everything you need to know is
provided. Anyone interested in more information should contact Kelsey (Kmb89)

Alumni Seminar Session
October 28 from
4:30-6 in DeMeritt.
A recent graduate
from CEPS will be speaking and the Dean has asked us to attend. There will be
more information about it in the following week.
Exploring Math Night
Tuesday October 27 at
7:30 in DeMeritt 112. You could win a
TI-NSPIRE calculator, a copy of matlab for your
computer, or a giftcard to your favorite bookstore
just by attending
