The Kidder Award
Before his death in 1993, UNH alumnus and former Dean of Students William "Bill" Kidder established a fund to support educational efforts directed at enhancing the understanding of sexual minorities and gender identities.

The Social Justice Award
The UNH Diversity Team presents the annual Social Justice Awards to individuals or groups who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, courage, and role modeling in promoting social justice issues at UNH and beyond.

The Women's Commission Stephanie Thomas Staff Award
Each year, the UNH President's Commission on the Status of Women recognizes the accomplishments of UNH women who have made outstanding contributions to promoting equity, advancing the status of women, and serving as role models for women on campus. The Stephanie Thomas Staff Award was named in honor of the former registrar who was a strong advocate for UNH staff.

The Women's Commission Joyce Gibbs Award
The Joyce Gibbs Award was created in 1996 to honor the life and work of Joyce James Gibbs, who served as the senior administrative assistant to the UNH Women's Commission. Each year, the President's Commission on the Status of Women recognizes the accomplishments of a community member who has displayed a long-standing commitment to women's issues and to the mission of the Women's Commission.

The Professional Advising Award
The UNH Professional Advising Award recognizes a professional advising staff member for excellence across the spectrum of academic advising. Winners are chosen based on their demonstration of genuine concern and respect for students; professional and ethical standards; mastery of advising principles; engagement in activities that enhance and support academic advising at UNH; and overall enthusiasm.
