University of New Hampshire Ski & Board Club
About the UNH Ski and Board Club

Krista Albach and Mary Johnson The UNH Ski Club was founded in 1999 by Krista Albach and Mary Johnson. When they came to UNH and realized that there was no club for people who just love to ski and ride, they decided to start the UNH Ski & Board Club.

Over the years, the club has grown in numbers. In fact, it is the largest registered club on campus, yet its basic purpose remains the same. We provide transportation to and from the mountains for fun day trips and amazing overnight trips throughout the ski season.

At the end of the 2003/2004 school year the UNH Ski Club was moved from SAFC to Campus Recreation. Although the Ski Club is not a team and simply provides transportation to and from the mountains, the school felt that we were more suited to be represented as a club sport. Although what we do has not changed, many of the policies have. New members and old members alike please read through the Membership page to find out about sign ups for trips, new dues policies, etc.

As of the 2008/2009 season we have become officially sponsored in-part by Sunday River, Flylow and The University of New Hampshire Campus Recreation Department. We made a executive decision to go with one season pass this year to help ease the process for everyone involved. We are solely going to with The New England College Pass (Sunday River, Loon and Sugarloaf) which have been the most popular mountains in the past few years. But don't feel obligated to purchase the season pass, we still welcome our daily pass holders as well. We have also cut out the trip fees and incorporated them into the clubs yearly dues to make it easier for you, our club members. We hope you like the changes and we look forward to seeing you all on the first trip! If you have any comments or questions feel free to contact one of the Board Members.
