Safe Computing Poster Campaign
Thanks to a grant from the UNH Parents Association, Computing and Information Services has created a series of marketing campaigns to target students focusing on Safe Computing. The ads began appearing around campus in September, including in the residence halls on bulletin boards, on UNH Dining table tents, and in the school newspaper, The New Hampshire.
So far, the posters have been well received by students. Our first poster (Rock On) went over very well at the Resident Assistant Fair. In fact, it was so popular we ran out and had to order more. The ads are a great way to open a dialogue with students over topics important to them.
There are six posters in the series addressing issues such as phishing, proper use of Facebook, illegally downloading/sharing music, avoiding identity theft, sharing passwords, and deleting Internet cookies.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if your office would like a copy of any of these posters. v
