October is National Cyber Security Month. In recognition, Computing and Information Services (CIS) will host its second annual series of Cyber Security events. CIS invites you to:

• Witness the NH Attorney General Office’s presentation about the state of NH Laws that pertain to Information Technology

• Speak with the UNH Police Department and USNH Internal Audit representatives about protecting your computer and yourself

• Participate in a phishing derby to compete for a prize for the most current examples and original detection of phishing attempts

• Attend presentations about safe computing and best practices

• Speak with UNH representatives about IT policies

• Discuss the University’s mission and how information technology security can support that mission

• Participate in an open forum about IT Security and other events related to protecting your computer, your privacy, and your information
