blakcboardMicrosoft recently released Office 2008 for Mac. The latest version of Office includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage, and a lot more. Just like Office 2007, this Mac release includes the open XML file formats. What does this mean? It means greater compatibility between the PC and Mac versions, smaller file size, and better security.

To use Microsoft Office 2008 to its fullest, Apple recommends OS 10.4.9 or later and at least 512 RAM, with 1.5GB of available hard drive space. You should also have an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (500 MHz or faster) processor.
