Do you have multiple archive folders open in your Outlook 2007 or 2003, but no way to tell them apart? You can rename archive folders, giving them names that help you tell one folder from another, such as FY08 Archive or Before 2006 Archive.

Here are the steps:

1. Open Outlook and go to your Mail view.
2. On the left side of your Outlook window, in the Mail Folder list, scroll down until you see your Archive Folders.
3. Right-click on the folder you want to rename, and choose Properties for “Archive Folders”… from the menu. A new dialog box will open.
4. On the General Tab choose the Advanced… button, then type the new folder name in the Name:________ box.
5. Click OK until all the boxes close.

The new name should now show up in your Mail Folders list, and you will be able to tell your different archives apart.
