ECG Support for Internet Explorer 7

As of September 1, 2008 the following products will be supported for Internet Explorer 7 (IE7):

  • Banner HR & Finance
  • Web Intelligence (WEBI)
  • Famis
  • InfoEd
  • Kronos
  • Xtender
  • Exlibris
  • Blackboard

ECG will take the necessary steps to patch or upgrade the application environments, except for Banner SIS, to support IE7 by September 1. (Business Objects Web Intelligence is not patched for IE7 but has been tested with IE7). » more...

Please visit http://cis.unh.edu/wes to familiarize yourself with WES and to test your password on a regular basis.

 

UNH Alert Reminder

The University has developed tools to alert and provide core services to the campus community in the event of an emergency. UNH Alert represents one of those tools and is a communication vehicle which sends a text message to cellphones, pagers and registered E-mail accounts – including dot coms if that is an individual’s preference – alerting subscribers that an incident has occurred on campus. » more...

Requests for updates should be communicated to your department’s Directory Online Editor (DOE). DOE’s have the ability to update the Offices and Organizations’ information at any time. Applying for Computing Accounts - Transition in Progress

AccountsCurrently there is an ongoing effort to transition all paper forms for Computing Account Applications to online web forms. Approvals for accounts will also be digital. E911 Regulations Bring Changes to Campus Phone Service

E911E911 (short for Enhanced 911) is a “North American telecommunications based system that automatically associates a physical address with the calling party’s telephone number, and routes the call to the most appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for that address.
