Our office can assist with the development of meaningful community based partnerships across the curriculum. Effective partnerships can aid in the student learning process and meet real needs in our community whether through service learning, internships with non-profits, out-of-class partnerships or other service opportunities.
Our support services include:
- Serving as a liaison between the University and local community agencies, schools and non-profits.
- Organizing class presentations and information sharing
- Assisting students in identifying appropriate service-learning and out-of-class community service placements.
- Working with community partners to ensure that the desired learning outcomes match the needs of the agency.
