Volunteer Action Center, United Way of the Greater Seacoast
Located in Portsmouth,the Volunteer Action Center (VAC) maintains a searchable database containing hundreds of volunteer opportunities throughout the region.
New Hampshire’s Resource on Volunteerism. VNH! hosts the annual Spirit of New Hampshire Awards celebration, the Governor's Conference on Volunteerism and serves as the coordination site for NH AmeriCorps programs as well as adminstrator for Citizen Corps Council and other state-wide emergency response programs.
Campus Compact for New Hampshire
CCNH is a statewide consortium of college and university presidents and private sector partners who are united in their commitment to the civic purposes of higher education. They provide training, support and programs for student, faculty and staff throughout the state.As with any activity, you should research any program to find the one that is right for you. Please contact the Office of Community Service & Learning if you have questions about the practices of any of the organizations listed above. Be aware that our lists include faith-based organizations.
