We offer interactive Safe Zones programs and trainings for students, faculty, or staff focusing on a wide variety of topics related to the experiences of individuals who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Ally (LGBTQA).
UNH Safe Zones Mission Statement:
UNH Safe Zones is an educational program to raise awareness of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Ally (LGBTQA) issues and contribute to a campus climate of inclusion at UNH, by preparing members of the UNH community to support LGBTQ faculty, students, and staff and take active steps toward reducing and preventing harassment, discrimination, and violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
