Looking to live with other academically motivated students? This theme is for students interested in living in a place that tends to be more quiet and respectful. Making the Grade and Honors Program are located together in Hubbard Hall. This building has great space for studying, which is also used to build a strong sense of community.

Here's what students are saying about Making the Grade:

“Hubbard is conveniently located. It is close enough to my classes that I can walk there in ten minutes tops, but secluded enough to make it feel like a retreat at the end of the day. Holloway is just a five-minute walk, or (if you get lazy like me) Philbrook is a stone's throw away.

The Hubbard community is very small when compared to Christensen or Williamson. However, it is not so small that you are forced to interact with the same people day after day.

There is quite a familial feel to the floor and conversation with neighbors is something you can depend on every day.”
– Laura Louise Plummer

“I love living in Hubbard. Since all of the Area III entertainment events are held in our lounge, it's very easy to have access to something to do on the weekend and weekday nights. I really like the location too, because as a science major, many of my classes are close by.”

“Hubbard's quiet study lounge is very useful for those times when you really have to study.”
