Is music a passion of yours? Do you play a musical instrument? On the Living in Harmony floor, your roommate might play the piano, and your neighbor might play the guitar. Regardless, resident's share music as a common interest. There is space near the floor, where you will commonly find residents practicing, song writing, or performing. Although some noise regulations apply, it's a wonderful way to express your love of music! Living in Harmony is located on a floor in Devine Hall.

Students share a common interest in music, both performing and listening!

Late night jam sessions and coffee houses are popular events on the floor.

Other programs include: pizza parties, craft nights, games, shopping trips, holiday dinners, and ice cream socials.

Residents include numerous music majors, members of the marching band, and students who just enjoy music.

Living in Harmony has been the best possible experience for my freshman year. Not only did I get to meet people who share common interests, the time we spend together making music has been an incredible outlet from the often stressful and crazy life of college kids. I wouldn’t have lived my first semester any differently!
–Kristen McDonough, FY (Salem, NH)

"The 'Living in Harmony' theme floor is a great way to meet great people and it makes your living experience at UNH so much richer. Its fun to live near people who love and appreciate music in every aspect just as much as you do; its a truly unique and dynamic floor."
—Anne Pella, FY, Pelham, NH

"From guitars to tea parties and late night singing sessions with the gals, this floor has been the best! A breeding ground for eccentric souls!"
—Katie Soule, Bristol, NH

Living in Harmony has made adjusting my freshman year very easy! It’s nice to live with people with similar interests and often the same classes! It’s also fun to hear people jamming in the halls at night!
—Terri Heckman, FY, UNH Marching Band, clarinet, Kingston, NH
