Why did you become a Hall Director?:

I became a Hall Director because I lost a bet.  Seriously, I love the constant student interaction that I can have as a Hall Director. It is a tremendous privilege to be surrounded by many great people and helping them realize their full potential.

Why did you choose UNH?What attracted you to the area or to the school?

I was drawn to UNH because I love the east coast. It is a different way of life compared to any other part of the US . UNH itself is just an amazing school that I have heard so many good things about. Plus, now I am only a two-day drive from my family as oppose to a five-day drive. I should also add that D1 hockey is a huge plus.

Any previous experiences, hobbies, etc. that you would want first year students to know about you?:

I am the Kraft dinner eating champion of Delaware. That was just a joke. I enjoy all sort of things from getting out to the mountain to board to sitting at home playing video games. I am very much into movies and consider myself somewhat of a movie snob. I like to eat out as well; fine dining is one of the greatest things out there.

Any advice for Incoming Students?:

Go to class - whenever it is held. Get involved, it doesn't matter how but it is a great opportunity to meet other people on campus, have some fun, and it looks good on a resume. Always try to get to know your professors; it makes a great impression when the professor can put a face to the name. Finally, get to know your roommate, have a variety of discussions on a variety of topics--especially topics involving the room.
