Elizabeth and Crew

The Department of Residential Life at UNH strives to support the academic mission of the University of New Hampshire, which reflects five key themes -- discovery, engagement, resourcefulness, effectiveness, and community.

Our department plays a central role in supporting all aspects of a student's educational experiences in and out of the classroom.

In addition, we share UNH's aim to develop students who will prize the virtues of integrity and honesty and who will possess abiding concern for the well being of others. At times, we will enrich the growth process in which the student is already consciously engaged, while at other times we must establish conditions which will prompt the growth process.

We are committed to helping students explore their own identity by making an effort to know and support our students on a personal level. At the same time, we will challenge our students to engage in these four areas of growth:

Diversity Engagement | Citizenship | Academic Engagement|Healthy Living
