Marston
House is a home to individuals who like living in a
small community. Residents like living in their singles, but also love to get out of their rooms and have fun. They are constantly going to eat together in large groups, attending campus events, doing crafts, playing sports and much more.
Marston is great because you get to experience both the privacy and independence of your very own single and the benefits of a tight community. A lot of people think that having a single means you will be isolated and lonely but this was NOT my experience at all.
My two years in Marston have meant a lot to me - I personally think it is the best dorm on campus. –Sara Naroian, sophomore, Hillsboro, NH
Marston is the coolest place to live ever. I came here not knowing anything about the Minis, and 8 months later I LOVE it. I couldn't imagine my freshman year anywhere else! From trips to the beach, Boston and of course Taco Bell to late night Philly runs and girl talk until 1 am Marston has it all. I love the community feel in the building, I know almost everyone and I have made awesome friends.
I've learned about other cultures, what woodchucks eat, and how to tie dye. If you want to experience UNH at its best, live in Marston. Honestly, it's great to be so close to the people who live around you and to have a great environment to study AND have fun.

Marston was a perfect match for me. Having come from a small boarding school, I wanted a small dorm where I could spend time with my dorm mates and develop great friendships. Marston allowed me accomplish just that. While some people enjoy having room mates, I prefer to have my own space. Marston is a great dorm to live in.
Everyone is super friendly, and the dorm has activities weekly. An added bonus to Marston is that it’s close to all my academic buildings. I’ve fallen in love with Marston. It’s everything I could have wanted in a dorm.
