Welcome to
Babcock Hall!

Babcock is a community of 180 graduate, international, nontraditional, and undergraduate students.

To live in Babcock you must be at least 21 years old. This six-story building is in the center of campus making it a very convenient location for classes.

International students comprise about 30% of the residents in Babcock.

While most of the residents in Babcock are graduate students, about 25% are non-traditional undergraduates.

There are 4 staff members in Babcock to help you: A Hall Manager and three Assistant Managers.

Nate Hastings is the new Babcock Hall Manager for the 2004-2005 academic year.

Every resident gets a mailbox in the hall.

Campus mail and mail from the United States postal service is delivered by the hall staff Mondays through Saturdays.

The building is locked 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Students use their ID cards to “swipe” into the building.

Babcock has great lounge space for studying and relaxing.

There is an indoor bike room for residents to use.

Our new ping pong table is very popular.

The laundry room consists of four washers and 6 dryers.

All units are operated with “Cats Cache” – not quarters.

This is what the inside of a room in Babcock looks like.

They are all single rooms with built in desk, dresser, closet and bookshelf.

Each room has a bed, chair, trash can and window.

The building has a piano for your enjoyment.
