The Senior RA job is a crucial part of our Residential Life system. SRAs assist the Hall Director in each of our large halls with staff supervision and training as well as advising the hall council. This is a great opportunity for students who are looking into the Student Affairs field or just looking to increase their leadership skills.

What are the Job Expectations?

The Senior RA (SRA) assists the Hall Director with:

  • staff supervision and training

 

  • advising Hall Council

 

  • other administrative duties within the hall


What are the Salary/Benefits

 

This 20 hour/week, non-benefits job currently runs from approximately August 15, 2006 - May 25, 2007 and includes:

  • a furnished apartment for the contract period

  • a silver or silver plus meal plan when dining halls are open 

  • a stipend of $2,500 with no University benefits

  • SRAs gain valuable leadership and supervision skills that would be a great asset for heading out into the job market or continuing on to graduate school.

Ideally, candidates for the SRA position would be entering their senior year at UNH and will have completed one or two years of the RA job.  But anyone is encouraged to apply.  This position is not available to graduate students.
